The Center for Social Concerns invites you to push the boundaries of your classroom into the neighborhoods of South Bend and beyond. Come and enter the lives of those who live and study and work there. Indeed, consider the ways that you might begin to be a part of the world’s transformation.

Focus: 
To care for the mind, body, and spirit of those entrusted to our care.

To gather regularly for common prayer and befriend the urban poor where they live, especially those who are elderly, homeless, immigrants, prisoners, or sick.

South Bend Community Re-Entry Center

Focus: 
To provide re-entry services to offenders being released throughout Indiana. The Center has both a Work Release Program and Level 1 Program component for offenders with two years or fewer to serve.
